Richard Harvey – Artist Bio

Richard Harvey (b.1971) is a multi-disciplinary artist, currently living and working from his London studio. His works form part of many private collections across the world.

As a bipolar creative, the road of exploration and experimentation has been anything but linear - baking, photography, filmmaking, drumming and painting, have all shaped Richard’s unique perspective as an artist. Drawing on these varied pursuits, his time living between New York and London, as well as the arena of mental health, his art allures the viewer.

Today, Richard’s work predominantly focuses on abstract painting and art photography – two mediums that have allowed him to navigate his own moods, noise and broadly explore the concept mind-space to create powerful and captivating works – working with the power of emotions rather than against them.
